You are a
dependency
one which
could be the death of me
Too exhausted to weep,
you leave me feeling
broken, tattered and cheap
You are a
dependency
The thought of sobering makes me ill
You run through my blood more than any
alcohol or pill
You are a
dependency
a drug destroying my system
slowly
To make this so much worse
I chose this habit
so I cannot be surprised
at the consequence that stems from it
