dig it.

hunger waves at pain
the green smoke so putrid
take me, to liverpool
I've waited, lethargy has beaten me.

Contemplation of when?
not tomorrow the band is still playing
wind whispered plans
of boots and braces and,

I can't see the raging war,
going on inside the
smell of death and lonely
blazoned bodies downtrodden by murky footsteps,

I can't stand the unseen battles
the decadent dreams and influence of pre-brainwashed minds.
take me away.
not some bubble filled frenzy, some
washed up 80's beer commercial
a relic past,

the blind mice had it right all along.
hobbling in darkness window light
the day as night would be in dreams alive,

with green clovers and chalky horseshoes
sugar dreams fade. High like no other

the diabetic noose drops
down a lingo reminiscent of old man jack
and the cats that swang to and fro
with their electric influence and blue light bravado.
