"Do You Dream In Color?..."

Do you dream in color?
Full rainbows hues - spectrum wide -
refractions of reflections spawned
within mind's eyes crystalline view.

Unempty picture frames
border the space -
holding all the colors now unseen,
close - beyond even a person's dreams.

Fractals play soundfully
glory in reverie...
lost to reality -
found in memory.

Do you dream at all?
Do you fly as I -
so seldom fall
more than a mile or three,
awakening with pounding heart
so hard it hurts...
and yet eyes close
so soft anew
and breathing slows.

I CAN reach -
intangible fingertips quest
and find and touch
and feel and are felt,
within and without
what was sought...
and have.
Can you?

Perhaps better asked - would you?
Could you even dare to be
more than simple reality -
with me - or even without?

I dream -
in color -
and fly -
and live beyond
a single simple plane.
I reach -
touch -
breathe soft in mind's ear,
float in the inner vision,
KNOW the fears,
have lived all tears,
tasted smiles...
because
I CAN.
