dont look down
because its a long fall
into a bottomless abyss

keep your head steady
and your eyes on the prize

look at the hand reaching out
to guide you to the other side
where sanctity will be provided

just take it one step at a time

you told me not to look down
but am i even listening anymore
can i even hear you over there
because if so for once in my life
why dont i show some faith

i know you know i can do it

there now
i am doing it and
it feels good to know
that i am doing it and
nobody else but me
is doing this thing

and you are waiting for me
just on the other side of this poem

waiting for me to be held and loved.

this part gave me a little shiver

"and you are waiting for me

just on the other side of this poem"

Great lines.
