The colors burst upon me.
Joy is a vibrant blue and yellow swirl,
Anger, muddy brown and chartreuse.

Despair
A dark black spiral,
Interrupted infrequently.

Ah...
Here is my favorite
Passion
Reds, greens, and blues.

But what is this?

A black spiral?
Running through the middle fo it all.

Spreading brown and chartreuse.

What have I done to myself?

Passion remains
Recolored...
Black, brown, chartreuse
Shades of anger and despair

But they lead me ever onward
Those spots of red
Green
Blue.

There!
Reaching yellow
I miss.

Elbow deep in despair
Red streaking by
Just beyond my fingertips.

I look around.

Surrounded.

Swirls
Twists
Streaks.

Vibrant
Dull
Dark.

I pull back...
Away from the confusion.

They come closer,
Attracting my attention
Capturing my thoughts
They absorb me.

My essence.

What color am I?
