~For My Broken Paramour~

"My brilliant fractured soul
as you heal
our love is becoming
a distant memory
disapating
I can't bear it
to look into the familiar eyes
of a now stranger
realizing promises once held
are now broken dreams
having the man who used to adore me
no longer know my face
how do I mourn for you
when there's no grave
to mark your passing
into wellness"
