Please forgive me my love
If I've caused you any pain
You see my heart is still with you
But my mind is still in chains
Wrapped me in your blanket
You have always kept me warm
Made me feel like your lady
Seduced me with your charm
Weaving whimsical fairytales
Turned my life into a dream
Blinded by this illusion
But it wasn't as it seemed
Torn, I feel violated inside
The choices were all my own
And when I opened my eyes to the light
I realize I walk alone
