Frosted panes
Tell of a cold night
Chilling my heart
As I awake to a
Cold foot.
I’m alone
I'm missing you
But remembering
The warmth of your voice
The comfort of your laugh
I'm hot, but my skin cold,
Closing my eyes
You are here
With me
Under covers, bodies pressed together
As one.
Your hand reaches for my cheek
A caress that thaws
With a gentle kiss
To sweetly send me back to
MY DREAMS........................
