Alabaster columns rising from winged shoulders
Into a misty nebulous of golden hair
Flawless as new-spun glass
Tendrils drift down
Ill content to rest skyward
Removed from that sleek slope
Yet slyly creeping south
To caress and twine
Upon that angelic arch
Tender encasement of the body’s entrance
Cradles a cup of secret scent
Beneath my palm
Would that silken skin seem
As ice or as velvet or as sultry hidden flame
Longing to explore that creviced cave
To trace the creamy contours
Of that slender stem
And strip its secrets away
One
By one
‘Til naught remains
But the memory of the delicate delight
That once occupied my senses
