Yes we are girlfriends I know
but I still feel alone
we never get to kiss
or hold each other we are miles apart
but still love in our heart
I want to say I love you
but you tell me your not ready
to hear them words just yet
but baby did you forget
you asked me out
said you was ready for love
so why are you not ready to be loved
