Goddess

A mother, I need more than a maiden's weight

Just slender enough around the waist

My reaching arms can carve

A belly curve, a buttock cleft.

A lover, needing finger strength, resilience

I knead the thighs for patience

Measure cardinals where Shakti softness

Presses Shiva, giving to his surrender.

Nail and thumb I form the symbols

Partner and permanence, fingerprint tilaka

Rings for toes, a stud for nose.

No tools, the imperfections of my hands

Caress your image out of clay

Worship the empty earth into the perfect

Partner, Lover, Mother

A devotion I can make my own

Is this a Tantrik Yantra ?!

A Shiva -Shakti sacred communion !?
