She isn’t breathing, there is no pulse
Her eyes are fixed and grey
She’s left this earth, she is no more
She wanted it this way

But where’s the note she left behind
Most people leave goodbyes
She must have had some words to say
Before her end demise

Just look at her as if asleep
The pain has left her soul
She’s lying there in peace at last
With death her only goal

Nothing came and took her
To a place where she could be
Void of pain and disregard
Where hearts and souls roam free

She didn’t need to say goodbye
No ears would hear her pleas
And so she laid her soul to rest
Where it drifted on the breeze

Goodbye to you, sweet rose so pink
Your petals soft and warm
Slowly falling to the earth
As you take some other form
