An old nightmare
a glimpse of abyss
she saw early on
the nothing there is

Pink preciousness
a message amiss
felt from the start
need more than this

The wound in place
delivered by face
set out to find
a marriage of mind

Two lives apart
now oddly entwined
how could you know
forever we'll bind

Seek n you will see
though blurry at times
a lesson of kind
thus arrives infinite

No grasping for grace
all slipped in place
when glory replaced
the vast empty space
