Have you ever had a dream...

I was not alone,
a group of 'us' were present
- the us - just my poor attempt
to give a word for
similar beings
all in a similar state.
We were gathered
grouped
together though physically near and far
and conscious of each other.
We - each - were aware
totally aware -
of much more than our own reality
and what it meant;
of what life is about
-all the reasonings of
and for.
We voiced many things
within ourselves
and simultaneously heard
each other
and understood.
I was FULLY awake to their BEING
as well as my own.

There was purpose
and definition
to our being WHERE we were
- a finite sense
and understanding
in the infinite.
We
each of the us
knew the ending
of this cycle
this phase
was here,
could sense the finality
taste the necessity of change
and without fear
feel the consciousness
my consciousness
being
stretched
soooooo s t r e t c h e d
drawn and drawn
til the heart didn't stop
but the beat didn't end -
pulled, welcomed into an unending stream
becoming one
merging
into all there is
and KNEW it was right...
then
with a physical wrench
I opened my eyes.

I don't yet know
if I miss what I was
becoming
but it aches inside
as I look through the glass
remembering...
remembering...

Wow!

Reality like this could mean the end of war. I like it.
