In the dark I sat alone
Crying and crying over your heart of stone
I said some things that made you mad
Then all your words came and turned me sad
You say it's not me that makes you this way
But it seems you're angry almost everyday
I love you more than you believe I do
And someday I'll prove all my worsd to be true
No one in the world makes me feel like you can
No matter the problems you're always my man
Every word I write comes from one muse
But it's the same thing that hangs my neck in the nuse
My smile once went from one ear to the other
But your anger has recently began to smother
I pray every moment our wounds might soon heal
Cause this pain is something I'm not sure I can feel
