Click hereyou touch what’s hidden:
armpit, eyelid, nape and tongue,
cleft and web and cleavage;
you trace instep, arch and inner thigh;
and leaf through labial folds,
and later, alone,
i feel your fingerprints.
Tactile, more than visual, which is good in the context of the poem. Good use of assonance and alliteration, too (e.g., "cleft and web and cleavage", "leaf through labial folds"). Quite yummy, really. :-)
Thank you! Savior of Saturday, indeed. This poem may be short, but it creates a scene and a mood. I like it very much. Please come by the Poetry Forum; it's been mentioned on today's recommendation thread. Thank you for sharing.
