I met a girl at the Five and Dime
who had a propensity for rhyme
she spoke in riddles spoke in verse
she and I, hit it off, of course,
We shared a chocolate shake, two straws
discussed our common social flaws
our willingness to befriend strangers
engage in actions, embrace dangers,

And that is what we did, that night
in her bed by candle light
discussed our wants, discussed our wishes
floated on our backs, like fishes,
Now, I could tell you each detail
how our boats both set sail
on high seas, much to discover
how we became each other's lover,
