At first, love blooms.
We celebrate
In all the rooms.
My fate,
My perfect mate.
But when love dooms
We aren't defeated
Because love resumes
At times can be cold or heated
But should never be left untreated
Forgotten or deleted.
Time may tame the blaze
We had in our earlier days
No marriage ever stays
In a honeymoon phase.
Matrimony is about more
Than great sex on the floor
It's about being able to pour
Unconditional love to the one you adore.

Oh so true. And real love survives and flourishes in the face of the mundane.
