so lonely
my heart cries out for you,
but you are not here
oh my love,
why must we be apart?
Honor’s duty keeps me,
but my heart calls out,
How long?
how long must we be apart.
But then, in cold light of day
I wonder if I can
Pledge myself to another,
Can I trust again,
Or will the reality kill
the romance and my heart?
