Laughter,
uproarious and sudden,
binds my ribs and
grips my throat.
Breath is forced
in and out...
roughly,
quickly...
passing through curious
lungs,
that wonder
if they
will ever
work
again.
My back hurts.

But it is the kind of hurt that is so wonderful.

You know, now

we would want to see what the laughter was all about. It does leave a feeling of "missing the joke". Very Good.
