I can’t love you anymore,
He whispers to you,
As he finally walks out the door,

Your lips tremble,
As you try so hard,
To stop the tears from falling,

But the tears fall,
As you watch him walk,
And you know that,
He isn’t coming back this time,

(I can’t love you anymore),
The words echo in your head,
As the door finally slams shut,

Everywhere you look,
You still see him,
His voice on the answering machine,
Makes you want to cry,

Because you know,
He’s not coming back,
Not this time,
And your world falls apart,
