i don't know what you feel, or what you're going thru
I'm not quite sure what i should say, or what i should do
i know that you're experiencing a lot of pain, and maybe despair
i don't know it will help, but you should know i care
i also want you to know, someone else knows you pain
he has seen me thru the storms, time & time again
he knows our doubts, and all of our fears
if you put your trust in him, he'll dry away your tears
he gave us life, and he can take it away
he gave his life, so we could live another day
whatever it is, that brings your heart to grief
if you give it to him, you may have relief
i want you to know, we can not do it alone
that's why he's there, we are not on our own
he doesn't care, if you've ignored him in the past
he made us a promise, and his word will always last
all we have to do is reach to him, and tell him what we need
if we believe in him, it will be fulfilled indeed
i can not relieve your pain, or change how you feel
but i will pray for you, because i know god is real
i gave my life to him, and i was set free
now i believe in God, and he believes in me
if there is anything i can do for you, don't be afraid to say
if it's to talk or to listen, or if it's just to pray
