I have to look at your every day.
I see the pain in your eyes.
Salty tears run down your face.
It’s the world you despise.
I hate you.
I hate what I see.
Your eyes bear through to my soul
As you stare back at me.
Your skin is rough,
Your eyes are cold.
Your smile is fake.
You hide secrets I’ve yet to behold.
They pick on you,
The call you names.
To stay alive, you have to play the game.
No one can help you.
You’re stuck where you are.
They’re surprised
That you made it this far.
You wish for things you’ll never have.
You wish that things were okay.
Life’s not that bad when you’re stoned,
But you can’t get high every day.
I want to help you,
But you won’t let me do it.
I’ve tried and tried,
Now screw it!
I stand so close to you now, I move nearer.
I raise my fist in hatred…
And break my mirror.
