Before I knew it,
the sun had set again
and I was still pondering
breakfast.

My loop around the sun
just another möbius stroll
though duration, as if time
was mine to stop
by closing eyes,

and every day I wake up
jet lag dazed from merely
spinning on an axis.

Snapshots
are feedback echoes,
and every sight mimics
deja-vu,

Except it's not.

you've been here before,
you've said those words,
dreamed those nightmares

Before I knew it,
the sun had set again
and I was still reaching
for the alarm.
