With my breath caught in my throat I try to suppress the cry
With all my might, the power within me
My chest heaving, heart beating faster than ever before
The pain in my stomach growing for every second
I can feel its warmth spreading up my chest and towards my heart
Sweat coming out of the pours, a slight fever striking
And then the cry
The cry of pain
The cry of sorrow
The cry of love
The cry of betrayal
The cry so alike the ones before

Then the sobs start
And the tears
Streaming down the cheeks
Finding their way down
Gravity pulling them
Salty
One landing on my lips
The saltiness pressing through to my tongue
I taste the tears
I remember the feelings and the fears

The legs pulled up
Close to the rest of the body
The sobs getting more intense
The tears streaming in a steady flow
Heart beating so hard
Wonder when it’ll burst
I cannot breath
I cannot talk
It feels so good to lie there all alone
The legs so weak
The floor so cold
Don’t ever want to leave

Voices around me
Worried
Wondering
Asking
Fading
The voices they fade
The floor is so hard and cold
It’s just what I need
It feels so good
Don’t ever want to leave
