I'VE HAD ENOUGH
When love demands
we always do,
from love when we demand ,
long waiting in the queue,
"it seems unfair,"
"life is a bitch,"
"don't have a clue,"
and all that stuff...
without care
the poets preach,
the lovers woo,
I've had enough.
The short dismissive lines, the length of the poem, both added to the feeling of, having had enough.
I, like Tsotha particular liked the finishing lines.
I really like lines 1-4. In the last four lines, I found it interesting that you don't set yourself as a poet. :) ("without care poets preach, lovers woo, (but) I've had enough")
