I've got to start a fire.
I’ve got to start a fire.
Close to her home.
Close to her home.

I can’t stand the people staring
When she's walking past them in the street.
Yellow catsuit and purple backpack,
The perverts tripping over their feet.

Build a fire
Build a fire
I got to build a fire
close to her home.
(Yeah, baby..... I wanna feel your heat).

There’s got to be a way another way
To find my heaven
Cause I don’t believe the preacher at work.
I’ve got to start with a fire
To win her desire
I got to start burning crosses at home.

She drinks a Flaming Lamborghini
Dressed in a lime bikini
With pearls laced around her neck.
She dances to the music
Rides the heat from her fire stick
Licking flames with kiss.

Start a fire!
Start a fire!
I got to start a fire
Close to her home.
(Oh baby, I'm going to take you higher).

She doesn’t notice lighter fluid
Dripping down her legs.
She has a burning cigarette between her fingers,
While she fills her supercharger with lead.

She arrives home early,
Cooks her dinner in a hurry
Leaves oil dripping over the flames.
She undresses real slowly,
Lights a hundred blazing candles
And slips into a bath of kerosene.

Stop the fire!
Stop the fire!
I’ve got to save her from her burning home.
I’ve got to kick the door down.
I kick the door down
And save her from her burning home.

He built this fire.
He built this fire.
He's going to burn me to a cinder,
I hope my hero comes.

I built this fire!
I built this fire!
So this hero wouldn't
Die alone.
