The Doubly Dreary Reign
of King Perineus, the Unsane

The avalanche is upon us
Upon me: the gnats
Swarming in clusters
Fucked, we descend
Distend and distemper
Semper upon it
Do try and sell us -
Ice to the arctic -

Alone, just dust in the attic
The musky old antics,
Twice-told pendantics -
The two-fold dispute
Bifecta, bisecting my cavernosum:
A slow-squeezing muscle, no rectum
Suspected, but long since rejected
The seeds of, this seat of,
This source of defeating,
The humdrum conundrum,
The rex known as Grundle:
King Perineus, the fourth
A veritable bastion of stink,
The horrible fragile crescent,
The great divider,

The balance between light and darker
Up from the down, of course
From coccyx to cervix
The route for this trip
Royalty's princely train
Bowels & gonads
Now rule the brain.

I'm a sucker for word play

Alliterarions, eye rhymes, subtle repetition, you got it all here. A thorougly entertaining read for the syntaxophile in me. But I'm still not sure what, if anything, you were trying to say.
