Ice forms upon the surface of a barren lonely heart
Living and beating only for the dream of forgotten sunlight
Yellow vibrant rays to thaw the gathering frost
Delicate satin warmth to give life to a meaningful existence
On and on the mindless throbbing mass beats unhindered
Pushing crimson slush through constricted arteries
Slowly, consciousness slips from vibrantly popping synapses
Loneliness ceases to be, as does all else.
