suddenly realizing how loud the clock ticks!
Turning off the tv
only making things worse.
Sighing...
willing yourself to bed,
knowing it would be fruitless
since your mind continues racing.
Clicking...
writing one more note.
Idle fingertips on the keys
resting between random thoughts.
DING!
Jumping up suddenly,
heart beating quickly,
back in his arms for a goodnight kiss!
