Have I become something I do not wish to be
Lost in a world filled with hopes and dreams and
Dare I say it
Madness?

Have I become so immune to reality
That the difference between that which is before me
And that which is not is merely
Separated by my
Fantasy?

Have I become a creature who lives
Not among the living but among the imaginary
Never once knowing if my world
Is real or just a bowl full of water
In which I perpetually swim in ever
Widening circles?

Have I become something I do not know
A creature of this world with one foot
In the next and yet a citizen of
Neither?

Has this come to pass and if so who
Will save me?
