my mind
can't quite conceive
of the thought of it.
I could write of love, but
my spirit
can't quite catch hold
of the essence of it.
I could write of love, but
my heart
can't quite believe
in the truth of it.
I could write of love, but
my soul
can't quite embrace
the treasure of it.
