Love Poem

I love you without reason,
Without doubt,
Without seclusion.
I lay in bed every night
And dream of your arms in my delusions.
Maybe my life is just another generic love song,
Maybe when I'm out I'm gone,
But I've never been tired of this...
I've never thrown out possibilities.
My head doesn't understand
Why my heart can' leave,
Why it wont stop the pain,
Why it lives for you in vain.
Sometimes it takes some time to realize
Just how deep something is,
And then when you do,
You'd give up everything just to hold onto it.
You wake up every morning with the feeling of abandonment,
And your heart goes to bed every night knowing you can't handle it.
In the middle of the day you allow reason to step in,
But you don't mean it...
Because you cant see it.
When everyone's eyes around you start to look blue,
You start to realize what you are meant to do.
When everyone's skin feels rough and unfamiliar,
It's time to go back and face the dealer.
My reasoning had turned into bargaining,
Just let me live one more day.
I'll do anything, just let me stay, let me stay!
I would sit on hot coals just to get my answer.
I would walk 10 times around the world
Just to change your mind.
I'd fill up the oceans with my tears
If I knew that you could find
Find the heart I know you hold me in somewhere deep inside you.
Let go of all your fears and let me lay beside you.
Forget the feelings of failure that have kept me in my corner.
Do something for love like love is your owner.
For skin, for eyes, for humor, for late nights, for sweet fights,
For all the hopelessness I've ever felt.
Is this all that I am going to be dealt?
You've told me to take my chances,
You've told me to go for my dreams,
When all my being is within you.
Why cant you remember what it means?
I've loved you for forever and every second I'll love you more,
But until I can break into you,
I just stand at this closed door.
The door that makes me wonder
If everything you said was true.
And then I fall...
And all I can remember...
Is how much I've always loved you...
Because its all that matters...
Its all that makes my dreams come true...
You're all I ever needed...
