i have been empty of lately
from the wiles of mortal life
a human came between us, our friendship
and i ache now sliently, a dangerous thing..
i spoke to him, could flow with him
our conversations dark and cynical and true
there was no need for pretense or lies
when time's immortal, those are trivial..
we laughed, i questioned, cautious was he
through years of silence, he loved the openness
that we carried through time, time was ours
sensuous he was, dangerous, a vampire...
my missing immortal...
