you said time had changed you
and you longed for what once was.
how you could see eternity
when you laid there with me.

but there you stood,
charming as Lucifer can be,
while you layed out my addiction
for the all the world to see.

it's a fine white line
between heaven and hell
and baby,
hell, just aint for me

so take your lies,
those sweet sweet lies,
and fold them away
with those blurred blurred lines.

lets hold on to the memories
of laughter and innocence~
skinny dipping in the pond,
and walking all night in the rain.

but take that fine white line,
and go straight back to hell,
where you can sell your tales
to someone that's unawares.

cause baby,

hell, just aint for me.

~~

Not a sweetness and light romantic piece here,

It has the hard edge of reality as she disinvites him from her life.
