You are my muse
I had spoken of this in jest
But this morning I realised
You are indeed my muse
I write like no other
With you there to inspire me
It must be the feelings you invoke
As words flow from my pen
Yes you are my muse
But now you have stepped back
Still there in the background
But will you once again step into the fore?
