My Angel
All he sees are his flaws
His beautiful imperfections
He listens to the cruel words of the world
Let's them undermine his worth

My Angel
He says his wings were clipped
He cries at every touch
He's been branded in his pain
The agony reminding him of his fall

My Angel
He mares his once perfect form
Blood spills from his wrists
Screams escape his lips
Tears flood his world

My Angel
He was my saving grace
He anchored me to the truth
Along the way he lost himself
Now he's the one who needs saving
