Lady fair of golden hair
angel in the moon's pale glare
with but one glance is unaware
she stripped my soul and left it bare
within her eyes of jade a sight
of a man made happy on this night
her silken dress and skin of white
fill my mind with dark delight
but alas, what is amiss?
be this a dream? did we just kiss?
tears doth well in eyes a bliss
for an angel to present me this
how can it be I am bestowed
the love of one whom does allow
greater men to pass like clouds
and yet remains to love me now?
