Clouds move in
Lightning flashes
And thunder booms
I jump at the sight
Yet I cant help but think
How beautiful it is
The flashing lightning looks like
Fireworks during the fourth of July
Thunder like big bass drums
During a band rehearsal
Drumming away
Making beautiful rhythms
The wind
Whispering its sweet song
As it kisses my windows
Smearing the rain
Against the glass
Clouds hiding the sun
Yet letting it peek out
To give us a little hope
That the storm will break
And give us the warmth we
Desire
But the clouds continue to
Move in
And the thunder and lightning
Play their songs
And show their display
Letting the world know
The true
Raw
Power
Of this beautiful yet
Mysterious
Planet
