(this is one of my fav poems I have written, hope you all like it as well)

The water spirits call to me
These creatures only I can see
Which others wish to have a peek.
Play a game of hide and seek
"Come and get us if you can
Chosen daughter of ignorant man."

Soon, airy sylphs join our game
Of tag that is far from tame.
As darkness falls, the games draw nigh
And I settle down with a weary sigh.
A tree nymph comes to sit with me
And listen to the crickets' symphony.

I have no fear of midnight's cold
And danger upon me has no hold
For fir'es spirit keeps me warm
And wary those who wish me harm.
Water, air, earth, and fire
Have welcomed me into their shire.

Nature is my friend, my savior
Gifting my life with unique flavor.
My days are filled with carefree fun;
My nights bright, despite lack of sun.
So envy me, my blind, stupid, fellow man
For I live with the kin on Pan

Long live the sprits...

I loved it. The affinity of the spirit / fairy with nature. Very well written and a enjoyable read. GF.
