Navy blue sheets wrapped around my legs
twisted around my thighs
warm muscles shifting comfortably
in the dark
turning to daybreak.
My lips resting against your throat
breathe the soft scent of sensuality
realizing that while you sleep
in the dark
the moment is idyllic.
Lack of tension creates ease
quiet thoughts of peace
realized as I reach for you
in the dark
to mesh once more.
