Are they watching me?

I think they're watching my hand
maneuver the writing utensil to
form the letters that make up what is my signature.
My hand trembles as I finish with a swirling G.

I deposit the pen onto the counter
and an anxious finger crawls back up to my mouth
to chew and rip maliciously at my agnails til they bleed.

Intriguing....

dorksicle's poems are always intriguing - like glimpses of something caught in passing. Wonderful!
