A dark parody of the Ozzy Osbourne song No More Tears

What happens when a father's perfect son turns out not to be as perfect as the father had always planned?

Read on to find out.....

The light in my eyes dies as through the window I see my son kissing another guy
Swallowed whole
I feel my mind fall down a stairway of darkness
My love for him forever more lost
In the blink of an eye
A levee of tears floods my soul to learn the secret he's been holding back
Now a father is left with no choice
Tonight in the dark
I must teach them
Teach them both a lesson with my gun loaded to scream
As I launch my attack

Boy, thought your momma told you you're not supposed to talk to freaks like that
Tried so hard
So very hard
Your ma and I did to protect you from their kind
Now to find that you wandered into sin's evil ways
Well boy it just tears the heart right out of me it does
Look in the mirror and tell me son do you really think we can ever forgive what ya done here

No more queers

Another gay passes and I vomit as my boy closes his bedroom door behind 'em
The red light of rage fires in my cold blue eyes
Cos I know what they must be doin' in there
And it ain't nothin' the good lord would approve of
So now begins the beginning of my only son's fatal ending

I pay the man waiting around the corner
I close my eyes and wait to hear the sound of his bullet screaming

No more queers

So now that my son's lover's life is over
Will my boy say goodbye to that wicked way of living?
Or God help me will I have to make one last fatal move againest the devil inside of him tonight?
Maybe a sweet ladies' kiss will help to change his evil ways
They kiss and she tells me his lips were so cold
So unfeeling
Oh God what more can I say?
My son, my beloved darling boy
I never wanted it to end this way
Believe me when I say this is for your own good
You did't fall in love
You fell into the devil's path of lust
Now this last act of a loving father....
Your loving father will ensure.....

No more queers

Hmmmm...

I read this poem out of curiosity from the comments. If the author believes what she has written then no words can describe the outrage and disgust I have.

I do believe that this poem clearly portrays what "some" people believe should happen to those who are homosexual. We should be more outraged that there are individuals who agree with this poem and would indeed act this way.

i really, really...

... hope you are not serious! how you can pose something that apparently sanctions murdering gay people just because they're gay is beyond me.

tough crowd, let me weigh in. As parody, leaves something to be desired (like focus) hwo many of these things do you do? Too many - see my other comment. Do too many without focus, no one cares - check your lack of comments, just because you managed to piss people off with this one doesn't mean much.

More hate but no poem

I "rated" your clutter here this way to convey that I don't consider it's poetic content. The hate neutralizes everything. Simply said - you suck. It's sa and pathetic

as people try to put down others so they can get rid of their own unresolved problems.Get help, rather than throw dirt. Or better yet why not go back to one of your crushes on rock stars?

for the BIBLE tells me so

FILM SYNOPSIS

Can the love between two people ever be an abomination? Is the chasm separating gays and lesbians and Christianity too wide to cross? Is the Bible an excuse to hate?

Winner of the Audience Award for Best Documentary at the Seattle International Film Festival, Dan Karslake's provocative, entertaining documentary brilliantly reconciles homosexuality and Biblical scripture, and in the process reveals that Church-sanctioned anti-gay bias is based almost solely upon a significant (and often malicious) misinterpretation of the Bible. As the film notes, most Christians live their lives today without feeling obliged to kill anyone who works on the Sabbath or eats shrimp (as a literal reading of scripture dictates).

Through the experiences of five very normal, very Christian, very American families -- including those of former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt and Episcopalian Bishop Gene Robinson -- we discover how insightful people of faith handle the realization of having a gay child. Informed by such respected voices as Bishop Desmond Tutu, Harvard's Peter Gomes, Orthodox Rabbi Steve Greenberg and Reverend Jimmy Creech, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO offers healing, clarity and understanding to anyone caught in the crosshairs of scripture and sexual identity.
