nothing scratched on parchment
penned on papyrus
or whittled on wood
just clashing cliches
tense triteness
and a longing to taste you
Nice to see some of your new stuff, WD.
Oh, and I've been wanting to tell you--I read "Did Keats?" to my writing classes.

This is good, WD. I really don't have any suggestions for improvement. I could find something, though. :) But it's a good read just the way it is. Brief, interesting, and I like the "tense triteness" alliteration. The last line gives it a nice erotic twist.
