Curled up on a couch reading books,
Friends peer around pages with glancing looks,
To see if the other is similarly craned,
Each one wondering the same,
"Is this is friendship or flirtatious game?"

An underlying tension fills the air,
Between the two, Ti's not fair,
That each one wonders the other's intent,
Not knowing if the message will be sent.

Expression should be started with light kiss,
An opportunity they should not miss,
To cross the line and seize the chance,
And find a much wanted romance.

Interrupt her, do not wait,
Before to long it will be late,
For she will loose her curious zeal,
To know just how warm you feel.

Entice him with flirtatious gaze,
My dear your eyes do amaze,
As butterflies drink sweet morning dew,
Permit him to partake of you.

He leans forward for her affection,
Looks in her eyes, sees his reflection,
Their lips do hesitantly touch,
Fear of unknown being such,
And find their first kiss experimental,
Respectfully made, it is essential,
Essential that the gentle kiss,
Makes hearts beat fast in new found bliss.

Tonight they venture to new graces,
Forbidden erotic body places,
That were untouchable but much desired,
And now are given to loves conspired.

First the lips, then the tongue,
Join together hotblooded young,
Two whose passions respectfully mesh,
And find each other's supple flesh.

And how they clutch each other tight,
Making love all through the night,
Professing passions and fantasies,
While stimulating extremities.

The two confide their elations,
Prior fears of temptations,
Of dealing with sensual frustration,
And oft invoking self regulation,
And lamenting the months it took,
Sitting together reading books,
Talking freely, avoiding the deed,
Failing to express, when they felt the need.
