Ode to Telemarketers:

Hello, yes this is Mrs. Wright
I'm fine thank you so much
Why yes, in fact, I'm busy
I am in quite a rush

Let me save you time, my dear
I know you have a speech
But let me share some info
on the person you have reached

I have more magazines
than the fire laws allow
and yes, I have met Jesus
He's with me here right now

My carpet is already clean
It has no need for steam
My financial planning is complete
I'm my insurance salesman's dream.

My house is fully sided
and insulated too
My house is painted inside and out, my furniture is new
So I have no extra money now, that I can spare to you.

So you see, I'm quite content
and really have no needs
It's been wonderful, this chat with you
Hang up your phone now, please.
