I’ve laid my hands on you,
as if to take your pain as my own
and it has indeed become my own.
The hurt I see in your eyes because of her
is the hurt I feel in my heart because of you.
I know well your disappointment, your despair,
your fruitless labors, your frustration.
I know what it is to love someone so completely,
so desparately, so ernestly, and not be loved back.
And so I guess we understand each other better than we think,
and in a rather bizarre way ease each other’s pain.

Very Good

You have a very nice way of putting thoughts into words. I admire your efforts.
