As the days of our lives past me on by
I begin to wonder
I begin to cry
What will become of all my children if no donor is found?
How will they go on after I am gone?
How long do I have left to share in the memories and passions of their lives?
How long do I have to shine the guiding light of my knowledge and love upon them?
So bold and beautiful
They are my everything and much more then that
They are my family, my friends, my very soul
Young and restless
Surrounded by so many, too many damn temptations in this life
That constantly 24/7 365 I am eaten alive by the fear
As I lay here in this general hospital bed
What's going to happen to my babies if I need so desperatly is never found?
One liver to live
My God I pray
Soon one shall be found
So that my loved ones don't face a future dark and grim
Crying lonesome without me ever again by their sides to comfort them
