jumbled thoughts
tumble like clothes
in the dryer on the
fifth touch-up cycle

rhythmic thump
of bass beat
echoes down the
corridors of my mind

alone, I am dangerous
wandering the
twisted paths
that I dare not tread
in daylight

swollen moon reflects
swollen lips
engorged flesh
glistens
under frantic fingers

reaching

reaching

seeking release
that cannot be found
without the
whisper
of her desire
for it to be so

bound creature

free to move
free to wander

yet caged and writhing
like a cat in heat

redemption
relief
salvation
comes only from her
