The strongest man in the world
Knelt before the red curtain
And prayed
His salvation veiled behind
Bloodstained sheets like grape-skin
Fatal fig
Empty tomb
Cindered city
The history of mankind
Beyond the falling red cloak
Revealed!
A tear of blue flame falls fast
And glows dim in the mirror's frame

The Red Curtain...

Red curtain would mean...
The erstwhile Iron Curtain ?
